L.I.O May edition

Last night was the may edition of the London improvisors orchestra and it did not dissapoint.25 musicians from all over came along Japanese,French,New zealand,German,Spanish plus an assortment of avante garde big wigs Evan Parker,Steve Beresford,Tony Marsh,Pat Thomas.The show had a good size audience and delivered as always a fun pact evening.Conduction duties were handled by Steve Beresford,Dave Tucker,Phil Wachmann,David Leahy,Terry Day..and of course with such a stellar line up of conductors they did not dissapoint.All pieces were well received and as always a high standard of improvisation was the result.The next one is on the 4th June at the regular place The Red Rose on Seven Sisters Road,Finsbury Park....
